As you remember last year, the original Vengeance had quite a successful launch in the 2016 Geneva Motor show. This year we had Kahn Design debut a new convertible called the Vengeance Volante, or Vengeance WB12.

Do you know what the name stands for? Well, like most car giants, Aston Martin has its own naming strategy, and Volante stands for the convertibles.

Similar to its predecessor, the WB12 is build on Aston Martin’s lightweight and powerful VH platform. This beast, which is manufactured in the UK, was inspired from the classic Aston Martin designs of the late 20th century, bringing back the cabriolet hood and keeping the cool widened C-pillars and wings. This beauty is equipped with a 6.0-liter V-12 engine rated at 503 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque.

If you are a fan of the Volante heritage, you will immediately recognize the well designed crosshair exhaust system, the cool rear lighting, and the amazing wheels.

“Creating a convertible version of the Vengeance posed some challenges, given the unique coach built nature of the vehicle, but we’ve overcome them in true British fashion” Afzal Kahn said.

The Vengeance WB12 interior provides handcrafted black leather on all seats and custom door panels, while the steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara.

The DB9 will need around 4.5 seconds to hit 60 mph, and will go up to 183 mph top speed. No details yet about how much this beast will cost, but we’ll keep you posted…
