Well, here it is – the 2016 Mustang GT350, at least a render it.  The digital work of art at the top of the screen was done by Rampant Renders, and the second photo was done by none other than Gurnade.  We are undecided on the new front fascia that Ford is going after, as evident in the prototype photos/videos from last week, but Ford always has a way of making the high performance Mustangs look good once they are revealed to the public.

This render should give us a good idea of what we are going to see though.  As for what’s under the hood – the leading speculation is that we will see a 5.0 or 5.2 N/A with a flat plane crank.  This car is expected to be a track warrior – more of a Boss 302 replacement than a GT500 successor.

With that said, we do have reason to believe that Ford is also working on a true SVT Cobra successor, which would be a separate model from the GT350.
