This bike is BMW’s first venture into the sub-500cc streetbike production, and more than that – it is the first BMW model to ever be manufactured outside of Germany!
Where was it made then? In India! Yes guys, a BMW is being now produced in a country that sells 24 millions new bikes each and every year! BMW only sells around 160,000 bikes a year, and hardly any bike ever makes it to India. BMW also hardly sells in China, Thailand or other emerging markets. That’s a huge market made up of billions of customers that could start enjoying a cool beemer.
So what is this new BMW G310R all about?
Well, it’s an affordable entry-level platform that might fuel the aspirations of a broad worldwide audience. It’s lightweight, nicely styled and will definitely appeal to novice riders.
