2000AWHP Lamborghini Hurucán by Underground Racing (Video)

Excuse us while we pick our jaws up off the floor.

Underground Racing (UGR) is at it again. This time, in the form of a 2000AWHP 2015 Lamborghini Huracan. In other words, pure insanity.

This Huracan features UGR’s ‘X Version’ Turbo Setup. According to UGR, they completed the car just thirty minutes before the transport truck showing up for the Texas Invitational Event.

They are still working out all the bugs and fine tuning the setup, but this car looks like a serious weapon to say the least.

Some interesting features of note:

  • Completely New MoTec M1 ECU setup
  • Full Direct Injection control
  • Rolling Anti-Lag
  • Custom Spec’d Precision Turbos
  • Dyno’d over 2000awhp on high boost. Apparently, not even close to its all-in “kill” setting.
  • Air-shifted sequential gearbox. No plans for the stock DCT in the X version setups at this time.

We predict 240mph in the 1/2 mile and possibly a 7.9 second 1/4 mile.  Insane.

Watch the Koenigsegg One:1 set a world record (0-190-0 MPH)

Not only is the Koenigsegg One:1 the fastest (limited) production car in the world, it is also the most stable. It features one of the most advanced Stability Control systems in the world, as proven in the video above. 344 KM/h with just his pinky on the steering wheel! The future is now. The One:1 is an amazing machine, and it is brutally fast. Enjoy the record-breaking video above, and share your comments below.

Ford is creating fresh excitement lately with the announcement of the Ford GT Supercar, along with the most recent announcement of their ambitious plans to take that car to LeMans in 2016. The new Ford GT, powered by a Twin Turbo, ‘EcoBoost’ 3.5L V6 will make close to 700 HP, weigh less than 3,000 lbs and will be priced closed to the “$400,000” mark, is a nasty machine – and the race version will be even nastier. Enjoy the video above and the images below.

Hennessey Mustang hits 207.9 MPH (Video)

Hennessey Performance is at it again, this time in the form of a 200+ MPH Ford Mustang. And yes, it does sound like a jet aircraft.

What is really incredible is the lack of safety upgrades, and the seemingly unkept road that they hit the 207.9 MPH mark on. No roll cage, no harnesses, just a highly modified 5.0 Mustang and a desire to go over 200+ MPH on video.

Sounds good to us.

Enjoy,

The new Shelby GT350 and GT350R – powered by Ford’s new 5.2L Flat Plane Crank motor – will start arriving in dealerships in a few months. Thankfully, Ford has just released a fresh exhaust video to tide us over until then. Ford’s new track weapon will be naturally aspirated, high-revving monster, as the video above shows us. We’ll take two, in Black, please.

(NSFW – Language)

Ouch. As if it wasn’t painful enough to watch a brand new Corvette Z06 get totaled earlier, now we witness a new Ferrari F12 slam into a wall after engaging in a street race with a Alpha 7 AMS Performance GTR. It’s painful to watch, but we are confident that this new F12 isn’t beyond repair.

“Switch the traction control off bro, it will be cool bro, the road is straight – what could go wrong?”

End result? $21,336 in damage. This is what happens when 600+ lb-ft. is applied by an inexperienced driver. Granted, a mechanical failure of sorts is not out of the realm of possibility, but it’s not likely. He just couldn’t handle the V8:

The ‘base’ Shelby GT350 vehicle (package 900A) will start at just $47,870, excluding destination and delivery. The meaner, track-ready GT350R – with the 920A equipment group, will add an extra $13,500 – for a total of $61,370.

For reference, the 2015 Mustang GT (5.0) w/ Track & Tech Package comes in at around $46,000~ MSRP. So motivated buyers will only need to fork out a few more grand for the GT350 track superstar.

Furthermore, the top-dog ‘R’ model can be had for $61,370. The ‘R’ track-weapon comes standard with 19″ carbon-fiber wheels wrapped in Michelin Sport Cup 2 Tires and unique chassis tuning. Ford will also charge you extra to remove the rear seats, A/C and Entertainment System – and they will charge you even more to put it back in the car.
