The Viper has become a surprise hit lately (not that we didn’t already love the Mopar Snake) after the first video surfaced of it walking a 2015 C7 Z06 on the freeway.

On the flipside, the C7Z is off to a rough start since they started being delivered to dealerships a few weeks ago. Not only are videos appearing of it getting beat in straight line performance, there was also rumors swirling about ‘heat soak’ issues from the factory, but these discussions were silenced after the culprit was actually found to be an ECU that has been ‘de-tuned’ from the factory.

Anyways, check out the video above. The new C7Z tries to take on a Viper, and fails. But there is an interesting shot of the new Z’s on-board video/diagnostic system at the end (which is a VERY cool factory feature). Let us know your thoughts below.
