That is the official word from GM.  The base C7 Z06 will cost only $78,000.

A well-optioned C7 Z06 will come in at closer to $90,000.  Still, this is quite the bargain – as the Z06 has always offered amazing bang-for-the-buck performance, and it looks like GM is continuing that tradition for the 2015 model.
